It’s finally (almost!) here - the Punchpass iOS app. We’d like to invite you to help us test it. Here’s what you need to do to get started.
Test apps are accessed through an Apple app called “TestFlight.” So there are two parts of this process - first downloading that app, and then installing the Punchpass app. There are a number of steps in this process that will refer to “testing” - but we want to be clear that this is the same mobile version you have been accessing on the web and we expect it to work just fine!! This testing is about finding any small UI bugs with specific phones, or iOS specific workflows.
Apple has a special app they use to allow testing of apps - it’s called TestFlight. The first step is to install that app on your phone. Here’s a link to the app in the app store:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/testflight/id899247664?mt=8
Once you have installed TestFlight, come back to this page for the next step. If you already have TestFlight installed, then you can skip this step.
Now that TestFlight is installed you can install the Punchpass app. Click this link to get started: https://testflight.apple.com/join/Qjywwc5c
Click the ‘View in TestFlight under the Punchpass app to continue. Click ‘Accept’ to continue, and then Next. That’s it!! You’ll see the standard login page where you can now log in using the same account you’ve always used.
IMPORTANT - Please allow Punchpass to send you notifications.
If you want to receive push notifications for upcoming class reminders AND waitlist openings, you’ll need to grant the app permission. This can always be changed in your iOS notification settings later.
